Post-Retirement Salary Information:

• Retirees who are under age 62* and retired fewer than 36 months may earn the lesser of $15,000 or one-half of the final average salary used in calculating the retirement.

• Retirees who are aged 62 and older and retired fewer than 36 months may earn the lesser of $30,000 or one-half the final average salary used in calculating the retirement.

• Retirees who work full-time and have been retired for more than 36 months will be paid the median of the master-level pay scale.

• Oklahoma law may allow an exception for those who are retired but have not worked for a school district in the last 12 months. Please inquire with HR to determine if you qualify.

Based on the employee's age on the first day of the contract. Changes are not made mid-year.
