
The following schools were recognized as Great Expectations Model Schools: Longfellow Middle School, Carver/Fowler/Commons Early Childhood, Prairie View, Adams, Coolidge, Eisenhower, Garfield, Hayes, Hoover, and Taft Elementary Schools.











Emerson, Lincoln and Enid High School were recognized as Great Expectations Transitional Schools


Great Expectations Progressive school recognitions of Glenwood, Monroe, McKinley, and Waller.



Sheri Ingham was recognized as a finalist for the Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year.


Elsa Stewart, EHS senior, was recognized for being a National Merit Scholar.



Isai Chavez-Resendiz was recognized for being a state essay contest winner for his Great Expectations essay on "Effort".



EHS Jazz Band 1 was recognized for receiving superior ratings at all contests that they attended this year.


EHS Concert Choir was recognized for earning Sweepstakes at the OSSAA State Contest for the third year in a row.


Enid High School Girls track team was recognized as the 2023 6A Academic State Champions.


Saherena Williams-Clardy was recognized as a 1st Team All-Northwest Slowpitch Softball team member for 2023.

Thank you to the Coolidge spotlight student for leading the Pledge this evening.



Dr. Dudley Darrow was approved as the next superintendent of Enid Public Schools at the special board meeting held today. He will officially begin his duties July 1, 2023.



These students are receiving the Allen Family Scholarship to attend college next year. Congratulations to them for their hard work.


Tyler Cholerton and Elsa Stewart were recognized as Oklahoma Academic All State students. Congratulations.

The board recognized EHS wrestlers, Carlos Alvarado and Shae Salina, for qualifying for state. Hector Perez was named an All-State Wrestler.
